PR Hoops Recruit is a basketball recruiting platform created to help talented athletes in Puerto Rico gain exposure to high school and college coaches in Puerto Rico and in the United States
The Founder
PR Hoops Recruit was founded by Edgardo Hernandez, a basketball official and certified scout from Sports Management Worldwide in 2023 with many years of experience around the game. Through the years of involvement in youth and competitive basketball, he has seen the incredible talent that exists in Puerto Rico but also the lack of exposure many athletes have to high school and college programs in Puerto Rico and the United States
The Problem We Solve
Many talented Puerto Rican players never receive the exposure they deserve simply because college coaches do not have easy access to their film, statistics, or contact information. PR Hoops Recruit was created to help bridge that gap
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide Puerto Rican basketball players with a professional recruiting platform that increases exposure, connects them with professional coaches and recruiters, and supports their academic and athletic development
Our Vision
To become the leading basketball recruiting platform for Puerto Rico players in connecting talented student-athletes with coaches, recruiters, and institutions within the island as well as nationwide, and empowering them to grow as players, students, and leaders through life-changing opportunities
