Navigating the complex basketball recruiting landscape requires strategy and deep preparation. We deliver the recruitment tips you need — from NCAA and/or Liga Atlética Universitaria (LAI) eligibility benchmarks to mastering your highlight reel — ensuring Puerto Rican talent gets the visibility it deserves
Step 1 – Create Your Player Profile
Athletes create a player profile with basic basketball information including:
*Height and position
*Graduation year
*School and club team
Step 2 – Upload Quality Game Film
Video is the most important part of recruiting. Players should upload highlight videos or full game footage that shows their basketball IQ, skills, and competitiveness
Step 3 – Player Evaluation
Our scouting team reviews player profiles and videos to identify athletes who may have the potential to compete at higher levels
Step 4 – Exposure to Coaches
Selected players profiles may be shared with coaches and recruiters from:

Step 5 – Recruiting Opportunities

Step 7 – The Path to Playing in the United States
Basketball players from Puerto Rico have several possible pathways to continue their basketball careers in the United States
* High School Opportunities – some players transfer to U.S. high schools to gain exposure and compete at a higher level
* Prep Schools – Prep schools provide an additional development year to improve basketball skills and academics before entering college
* Junior College (JUCO) – Junior colleges allow players to develop for two years while gaining college experience and exposure to NCAA programs
* NCAA Colleges – Top players may eventually receive opportunities to play at NCAA Division I, II, or III programs

1. Complete your profile fully – Include name, position, graduation year, height, weight, school team, and contact information
2. Upload high-quality highlight videos – 2-4 minutes showing your best plays
3. Include full-game footage – Coaches like to see decision-making, defense, and consistency
4. Showcase your skills – Shooting, dribbling, passing, defense, and basketball IQ
5. Organize highlights – Put your best plays at the beginning to grab attention
